Applications
Examples are fats and oils for professional manufacture of heat-treated foods, animal oils and fats, food supplements and chewing gum. As levels are restricted and as the authorisation might be restricted to certain subapplications within the aforementioned areas, please observe the relevant legislation.
Directions of use and use levelsAdd the product into fat or oil of 60 °C while stirring until the product is completely dissolved. Avoid entrapping air. Recommended in-use concentration in fats and oils is 50–100 ppm (50– 100 g per metric ton), higher levels are authorised in some other applications. Please refer to Regulation (EC) 1333/2008 and relevant national legislations for the maximum in-use levels and other relevant rules.
The product is an antioxidant suitable to protect a variety of food products against oxidative deterioration.
