Magnesiumoxid muss in trockener Umgebung gelagert werden. Hitze und Feuchtigkeit vermeiden. Bei offener Lagerung wird MgO durch H2O und CO2 aus der Luft beeinflusst. Geöffnete Säcke sollten immer gut verschlossen aufbewahrt werden.
